For the wet finishing of very thin workpieces, the gap can be reduced to zero. This enables fine-grained abrasives such as quartz to be used without the workpieces getting trapped in the gap. The workpieces can be as thin as 0.01 mm.

Dosing unit for automatic preparation of the water/compound mixture with automatic rinsing unit. The compound concentration can be selected via control unit. The water flow rate is indicated on the control unit.

With this dosing unit, not only the compound concentration but also the exact water flow rate can be set via the control unit. Furthermore, it is also possible to program the water flow rate and the compound concentration whilst the process is running.

For example:

• Low water flow rate, low compound concentration at the start of processing = high grinding rate.
• High water flow rate, high compound concentration, low speed at the end of processing = high quality surface finish, high process reliability.

The UNISEPA is designed for a sieving volume at the time of 12 litres. OTEC offers this UNISEPA as a stand-alone solution or in a connection to a disc finishing machine of the series CF 9 or CF 18.

The UNISEPA is independent from other machines. It has its own control box and four castors with stoppers.

At machines of the series CF 9-I or CF 18-I without manual sieve, the media can be unloaded directly into the hopper of the UNISEPA.
