Full house for OTEC FINISH 05

|
When OTEC FINISH 05, our first in-house trade fair, ended on 12 May 2005, the event had exceeded all our expectations. All 120 delegates who had registered also attended and showed great enthusiasm in learning about the innovative technologies and sophisticated methods of finishing offered by our grinding and polishing systems. |
It was particularly pleasing that not only the machine demonstrations but also the talks on specific applications were so well received by the attendees. In a number of instances, an in-depth discussion with our staff was enough to find solutions to actual problems raised by the participants. We would once again like to extend our warmest thanks to all those who attended. We believe that we were also able to meet the expectations of the visitors and look forward to seeing everybody again at OTEC FINISH 06. |
Clean and efficient - the new microfiltration unit from OTEC

|
Wet finishing processes in vibratory grinding machines produce waste water which has to be treated. In many cases, expensive filtration units and centrifuges are used for this purpose, but these have a large footprint and use a lot of energy, even though their performance in terms of cleaning power is often inadequate. OTEC has confronted this problem and offers a compact microfiltration unit, the MF Series, which cleans water so efficiently that it can be reused by the vibratory grinding machine in a closed loop system. All for a relatively modest capital investment and at very low operating costs. |
The highlights of the MF Series speak for themselves:
