TZ range
The new TZ range of grinding media from OTEC is a multi-purpose type of grinding media. It can be used in both disc finishing machines and drag finishing machines. The TZ media consists of a silicon carbide grinding medium with a high-quality elastic binding agent. The granules are cylindrical in shape with a diameter of 4 mm and a length of 5 mm. The media is designed to be self-sharpening. Because of the increased amount of dust given off, it is advisable to install air extraction at the machine.

Application:
» Defined edge rounding of tools, especially suitable for cutting tools used with a cooling lubricant, since it prevents the cooling holes from becoming blocked
» Grinding and smoothing of high-quality workpieces such as watch cases
